How to Cosplay

Cosplay? What is this cosplay you speak of? Cosplay is the art of making and wearing a costume and role-playing in it. Cosplaying started to become popular around 1990-1995 when people started to cosplay as their favorite superheroes or movie characters at sci-fi conventions. From then to now, more than a million people cosplay daily at conventions. What can you cosplay as, you may ask yourself? Well, you can cosplay as anything you want. The Do’s for cosplaying is pretty simple. You must try your best, first of all. Nobody wants to see you wearing a costume that’s extremely sloppy. Second, try to pick a character that looks like you. Unless this character is some sort of non-humanoid, try your best to pick a character that is the same height, has the same face shape, same build as you, etc. It can make you look exactly like the character, and you’ll get more attention from it. This doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t cosplay as a character that doesn’t look like you. You can cosplay as anything, but if you look exactly like a character, and you cosplay as it, you would get more attention. Third, have fun with it and showcase your cosplay. Go to conventions and have fun with your costume. People at conventions will most likely want to take pictures with you and your costume, (if it’s good). Fourth, get into character. If your character is mysterious, act mysterious. If your character is shy, act shy. Simple as that. Just don’t overdo your character’s personality if its personality is being annoying or mischievous. Some people may not like that. The Don’ts for cosplaying is also pretty simple as well. First, if your character is a killer or a thief, don’t kill or steal anything just because you’re trying to be alike that character. Just, please don’t. (.>) Third, don’t be rude. Simply, just don’t be rude. If your character is rude, try to do it in a funny way, not

Canvas Tents: These are generally also called cabin tents, for the reason that these are so big and sturdy you could almost do a comparison into a cabin house. They offercomfort and space, and protection like hardly any other tent could, due to its size and bulk. But that by itself is actually a downside, because it's hard to lug around with you a tent that big, even if they are collapsed. They're also harder to put together.…

I have been using makeup since the last couple months that I was in sixth grade. I did not absolutely require makeup, but I figured I’d have to come across it one way or another down the road. I have come to realize that there is not a perfect way to apply makeup, but there is a way to do your makeup to where it fits you and what you desire to look like. First, you want to choose a primer, which gives you a fresh start when applying your makeup, the correct liquid foundation and face powder that matches your skin tone so that it blends well, a powder brush, your choice of blush, any mascara, and lipstick if that is what you like.…

Introduction In recent years, dress code policies in public schools have been labeled as sexist and disrespectful due to their unfair treatment of females. At Cleveland Heights High School, the administration claims that the dress code “strengthens the learning environment for classroom” and “prevents disruption of the educational process.” These statements contradict our school’s policy to pull students who violate the dress code out of class and to send them home. Students across the country are pushing for dress codes to be fair for all genders and body types, and we believe that it is time for the Cleveland Heights University Heights School district to update its policies as well.…

In college, it has become increasingly common for students to be lackadaisical when dressing themselves for class in the morning. The obvious lack of effort when it comes to one’s attire can reveal how serious they view their education, along with the amount of respect a person holds for his or her professor. The vast majority of universities do not require students to follow any type of dress code, leaving students a free range of opportunities when choosing what type of clothing they decide to wear to class. With this freedom, comes a responsibility to dress appropriately for class. Deciphering what “Dressing for Success” indicates is often difficult due to the dissimilarity of people’s opinions.…
