Helium is the second abundant element in the universe, discovered on the sun before it was on earth Pierre-Jules-Cesar Janessan, a french astronomer noticed a yellow line in the sun’s spectrum while studying a total solar eclipse in 1868.
Helium is a gas in used to inflate blimps scientific balloons and party balloons.
