The Guyanese culture also follows some of the daily living conditions that Indians carry. Food is a great example. Curry is a food that many cultures eat although many can cook it to the way their elders taught them or to their likings. Indians and Guyanese people do eat many of the same food but some of the spices that are used may be a little different. Guyanese food will sometimes be called West Indian foods. Another activity my family does is watch Bollywood films. These films are spoken in the Indian language, but has subtitles on the bottom for English speakers such as myself. They also consist of beautiful singing and dancing.
