This story happened to me and a friend 2 years ago up in the gold coast, Me and my friend Nick decide to go fishing in kayaks. We paddled down the cannel for about 20 minutes to get to the gate that separated the cannel from the ocean Nick unlocked it and we both entered to the ocean once we got to a good spot we set up our fishing gear and casted our rods in the water. Nick caught a couple of flat head and I only caught one small brim. After a while of fishing I spotted a dark patch of water in the distance but surugged it off as a patch of sea weed. I continued to fish but it kept getting closer so I told Nick he said it is probably just a dolphin or sea cow. We reeled the rods in so that what ever was passing us wouldn’t get caught on our …show more content…
While I was paddling I hear another bang and then I felt my body lifting out off the kayak it felt like i was in slow motion. I hit the water and so did Nick I didn’t even have to think in this moment I just started swimming for dear life I quickly gazed behind me to check if the shark was behind me and I see it flying at me int the water I thought to myself there is no way I am out swimming the shark so I turned around and saw the shark swimming right behind me, I saw the shark widen it’s as it was about to bite me it was the most horrifying thing that I had ever seen it had black as night eyes teeth that looked like kitchen knifes and it’s mouth was large enough to swallow me whole. I thought I this was it until a dolphin came and used it’t noise to ram the dolphin in it gills I kept swimming until I made it to the shore Nick swam in to the shore shortly after we couldn’t see the shark anywhere in the cannel so we decide I remember all day me and Nick couldn’t stop talking about the incident. Still to this day I can still remember the shark with it’s mouth open perfectly to this day. Me and Nick still go fishing occasionally but still we still don’t know if that shark is lurking in the waters

Inner Boston Harbor's Thompson Island is a gem of an easy access spot if you're looking for fishing the flats for striped bass or deeper and structured-waters on the same plus bluefish. Access is good: kayak fishermen can use the little-more-than-a-mile-from-the-island hand-carry at City Point, ditto the ramp at Malibu Beach, Neponset for powerboaters with trailers with four-wheel drive. In addition to flats fishing on the island's back side, Thompson holds within its contours two tidal marshes and a large sandbar and bunker that connect the island to Squantum's Squaw Rocks mussel beds at low tide, themselves a good bait source. And because most anglers prefer Boston harbor's outer islands, the Brewsters and so on, or the Faun Bar off Deer…

and I felt something hit the lure, I waited a couple minutes and something hit the lure again, I set the hook and the rod bent and the fish fought back. I was reeling and reeling and I finally saw it and grabbed it, it was a walleye, I had to watch out for the teeth because they are sharp and they hurt if they bite you. It kind of surprised me because people have told me that there is only flathead catfish back there. I think it was at least a 3 pound walleye, I caught a couple more walleye then put them on the stinger I had with me.…
