Sharon Heit said the following about drunk driving, “In a split second you could ruin your future, injure, or kill others, and tear a hole in the heart everyone you love.’’If you drink and drive you will put everyone around you in danger. The reason I’m doing a essay about drunk driving is because according to Mothers Against Drunk Driving, 27 people die each day from drunk driving.
Drunk driving can ruin your life, cause injury and can kill.
Drunk Driving is when one person is driving a car while intoxicated everyone is affected with drunk driving because it puts everyone in danger and it could take peoples lives. Whether the offense is labeled “DUI,”“DWI” (driving while intoxicated), or “OUI” (operating under the influence), the consequences are generally severe.
Though the specifics differ by state, penalties often include license suspension, fines and fees, ignition interlock device (IID) installation, and jail time.
We can stop drunk driving if we made a car were you had to breath in a hole and if they’re intoxicated they wouldn’t let them in the driving seat. The car doesn’t start until they breath in the hole if they are intoxicated the car would not start. They would put the hole in every car. When you breath in the hole it will go through the breath and see if the had any alcohol in their body.
This would probably solve the problem by stopping accidents and cause less death. If this solves the problem it could save a lot of lives.
Drunk driving is a serious problem going on now and it’s putting yourself in risk and others as well. In the future drunk driving but today we are still trying to figure out how to stop drunk driving. If we do stop drunk driving we could stop people from dieing from car accidents. I think we should stop drunk driving because it is a big problem going on and we need to stop it and might save some
