I picked the constellation Draco because it represents a dragon and dragons are strong. Every constellation is named by a civilization in ancient times. Draco is Latin for dragon. Draco is the eighth largest constellation. Draco comes from the word draconem which means huge serpent because it snakes around the North Star. Draco represents Ladon which is the dragon that guarded the garden of Greek mythology. The stars of Draco aren’t very bright. Beta, Gamma, Nu, and Xi are the stars that make up the dragon’s head. The Draco constellation is located around the North Star. Earth is 48 light years away from the constellation Draco. The brightest star of draco is the star gamma.

The best time to see draco is in June at 9:00 pm local time.
