Spring of 2016, I found myself surrounded by people filled with endless amounts of joy. Children running hysterically, but in a way that made me appreciate life and feel nostalgic looking back only at my most jubilant moments. Having been to Disneyland on several occasions I have always felt the same joy as the first time I went, I wondered to myself what about Disneyland brings this out in people and I came to the realization that it is a combination of several things. When I paid attention to the small details I understood how they fit into the big picture and allow Disneyland to call itself the happiest place on earth. The people are in an amazing mood because everyone else is joyful to be there, the feeling of being on a ride/rollercoaster …show more content…
The weather felt a little warm but that was only due to the sudden change in temperature over the week but in reality it was perfect weather with the temperature in the high 70’s and with that slight breeze that felt amazing as it refreshed me upon contact. We were scheduled to meet up with a cast member who was selling us tickets at a discounted price, so that he could help pay for his son’s college tuition. We met up with him in the ample world of downtown Disney and he escorted us through the entrance. Making small talk along the way, I realized he was such a delightful person of the third age which made me feel good knowing that the workers at Disneyland are genuinely gleeful people and don’t just put up an act during their shift. He let us in and gave us our farewell as we set off to embark on our Disneyland …show more content…
The feeling I get on the rollercoasters is like no other which is what makes it so memorable. The agitated feeling, I got as I waited the forty-minute-long line for splash mountain, the newly redesigned hyper space mountain, and one hundred-foot drop California Screamin. In an attempt to suppress that feeling I stuffed my mouth with a cream cheese pretzel, the sweet bread filled with the warm chewy cream cheese tasted like soft warm milk and made my taste buds jump with excitement with every bite I took. The pretzel tasted like heaven compared to the salty water the wind picked up from the rides and blew into our mouth and although it wasn’t a pleasant taste it made me feel like I was on the beach. Eventually it was our turn and as we strapped ourselves into the ride I felt my whole body begin to tense up and my stomach began to turn as I anticipated the drops that awaited me. I tried to enjoy the ride as much as I could but all I could think off was the drop that awaited me. I reached the zenith of the rollercoaster and held on for dear life as I tried to fight the earths gravitational pull as the ride was plummeting, my stomach felt like it was inches away from exiting through my mouth. The ride came to a stop and as we exited I could not help but feel exhilarated once the adrenaline began to wear down. The stressful build up that is ever so appealing was over and we were able to

A few years ago, on a class trip, my friends had asked me to ride at least one roller coaster. It was not a large roller coaster, but it made me queasy just looking at it. I was confident that I would be able to go on and enjoy the experience. My confidence quickly evaporated when we began climbing up the roller coaster’s first hill. The ride dropped, and I was screaming so loudly that I could only hear myself.…

I remember the gut wrenching feeling in my stomach as my best friend and I approached the tallest and fastest roller coaster at Hershey Park, called SkyRush. I am not sure why I agreed to go on this roller coaster, considering most of the time at amusement parks I entertain myself with food, and miniature rides that stay level to the ground. Unlike me, my friend liked the rush and heart dropping feeling of being at the apex of a roller coaster and then dropping down at maximum speed. Personally, I preferred the ground, where I remained in full control of my own safety. Yet that afternoon I found myself standing in line for SkyRush.…

Well I had gone to Six Flags and when I had got there I was so anxious to get on every ride in Six Flags but then I had heard a person on the Goliath scream ”stop the ride” it was so funny and scary at the same time. Then I saw that almost every ride had so many twists and turns and even circles that go round and round. Last year I had gone on a roller coaster which was the Mind Bender and it wasn’t so scary. The Mind Bender had so many circles that go round and round.…

We all had agreed to go this Saturday and ride the rollercoaster. The next day was already Saturday. I of course always had been scared of rollercoasters. They were never my thing, I always feel like butterflies in my stomach and my hands get shaky and sweaty. As my friends knocked on the door and walked into my house.…

There was a rush through my body thinking, Wow, that was fun!! We have gone on a lot more rides, by the end of the day. My favorite ride was that there was three different slides that are pitch dark and you get one soft mate and you go up a small set of wooden stairs then you race down the slide and the reason I loved it was because it takes about four seconds to get to the bottom of the slide but it feels like it takes a minute. A lot of the rides were fun some scary, and some adrenaline pumping. Ashley was tired and we had went on the rides we wanted to go on, so we had paid to get are belongings.…

I got soaked. We had to take our hands off the rail and we went swirling like a tornado and a spiral. At the end, there was a huge bump and we went down the smooth surface Finally, we crossed the bump, but at the very end of the ride, we went really high and touched the black rubber path at the very top of the ride. I finally thought that the ride was amazing to go on. My thoughts before were wrong.…

I got anxious as I reached the top, until the worked yelled “pull the cord.” Those three words is all it took to relieve me of everything, all the stress, anxiety and anything else that had bothered me just seemed to go away as I was flying through the sky. Once the ride was over I looked was so glad that I hadn’t chickened out. It was such a great experience that was so much more than just riding a dumb ride at Six Flags. It showed me that whatever goal I set for myself in life, big or small, I would accomplish it.…

I was filled with anxiety™, but I rode it so???? I guess I did okay??? I don't really like the stomach dropping feeling, which is honestly what half of what a roller coaster is. Disney World was a place where dreams come true. When I went to Disney world, it was the time of my life. I remember the trip like it was yesterday. Usually you would have an ordinary breakfast, lunches, and dinners like cereal or chicken, but at Disney had to die for breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and even great desserts. Also at Disney, meeting all of the princesses, Minnie and Mickey, and other characters, were amazing.…

I was determined to conquer my fears of heights and roller coasters. The day was growing old and the sun began to set. We had been standing in line for what seemed like hours. My legs ached from standing up and I was longing for a refreshing drink to cool me off. I had never had so much fun with obnoxiously loud carnival music blasting in my ears, small children stupidly goofing off in front of me, and the smell of food that was so greasy it made my stomach turn. Things that usually gave me a migraine, now made me intoxicated on my own cheerfulness. However, everyone knows that all good things must come to an end. Shortly after my dad and I had exited the carousel, it was time for us to leave the park.…
