I pledge not to text and drive because it is dangerous, and people’s lives are worth so much more than looking down for a moment to text your friend back or change the song that is playing. I recently read a book titled A Deadly Wandering. It told the story of the first fatal incident of texting and driving in 2006. A young boy took the lives of two scientists because he was texting and drifted across the yellow lines. The scariest part was that he did not even realized he was texting because it was so normal to him. This book made me realize how dangerous texting and driving is. Not only does it completely change the drivers life if they survive, but it kills innocent people. I will never text and drive because it is not worth
