A man by the name Henri Cosquer discovered a cave that he named the Cosquer Cave.He discovered the cave in the summer of 1991.The cave was discovered 120 feet beneath the surface of the Mediterranean sea.He accidently discovered the cave while he was swimming in underwater passages;subsequently, he took the photos and kept it a secret.He also contacted people after he found the cave were The French Ministry of culture then they sented the photos of the cave to Jean Clottes.

Jean Clottes is a scientific advisor on prehistoric art.Jean Clottes occupation AKA his job is an archaeologist.Jean Courtin is an archaeologist and a diver.Jean Courtin is director of the French Department of underwater archaeological research.Jean Courtin
