Chipotle is an Americanized Mexican grill fast food chain located and sold in the USA, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, and France. Chipotle was founded on July 13, 1993 by Steve Ells. The first Chipotle restaurant was placed in an abandoned ice cream parlor in Denver, Colorado. When Chipotle opened its first restaurant in 1993, the idea was simple, to show that food served fast didn't have to be a “fast-food” experience.
