There are some species that are endangered. One of those species are a Cheetahs. Cheetahs are currently endangered. Cheetahs are endangered because farmers are taking the lands they live on, Poachers are killing them, and they have a lack of prey. Cheetahs need our help!

Framers taking land
One reason why cheetahs are endangered is because farmers are taking up the land that they live on. According to newsela they said” Wild Grasslands is increasingly being turned into farmland”. Farmers are turning these lands into farms, so the cheetahs have less amount of space to live on. According to National Geographic they said”Around the world, big cats are suffering big losses and having big trouble in more and more human-dominated landscapes.” It’s not just the farmers but it’s also all of us, humans are killing these cheetahs.

According to Answers.com they said ”There were an estimated 10,000 Cheetahs killed by poachers over a ten year span from 2000-2010”. All those cheetahs died from poachers in 10 years, imajine how many cheetahs are there now. According to The Dodo they said “There are almost certainly fewer than 10,000 remaining across the entire continent” That’s how much in africa it use to be a huge number and now there at the point where they're endangered.Poachers really need to
