After the first week or so I realized that it is not just something new I am learning, but it is something new I am teaching. I am the one who did gymnastics and everyone else there was cheerleading since they were two to five. I was still teaching them that somethings are different in different places. Cheer is that competitive is very serious. In rec participants are expected to yell and occasionally have music, and when they do it that means they are doing it for another sports team such as: football, soccer, or basketball. In competitive there is definitely music that we dance, tumble, and stunt to. Just like any other sport it can not just be a time to hang out with friends, I have to pay attention. This is where I had to take what I learned from school and on regular days where I have to pay attention to my surroundings and still find a creative way to make it fun to me.
