Chasing Lincolns Killer
Last night on the 14 of April President Lincoln was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth the Famous actor at Ford’s Theater. John had planned his assassination with a group of loyal friends that planned many times to kill Lincoln and they all failed. One time they tried to kidnap the president on a back street but the president never showed up. Booth told his group to split up and kill the vice president and the secretary of war he said he would get the glory of killing the president. Right after they left booth turned on them and sent a letter to the post office and told them not to send it out till the morning in the letter were the names of the apprentices and that sealed they fate of trying to escape.
