What is cannabis?
Cannabis also known as marijuana is a tall plant with a stiff upright stem divided with jagged up leaves. Cannabis is used to produce hemp fibre and also used as a psychotropic drug which affects your mental behavior activity and your mood. Cannabis is often used in cigarettes illegally. Cannabis is under the category depressant drug, which means your body takes much longer to send messages and alerts to your brain. When a large amount of cannabis is taken it can produce hallucinogenic effects. Cannabis can also be known as Marijuana, yarndi, pot, weed, hash, dope, gunja, joint, stick, Kronic (synthetic form), cone, choof.

Smoking can damage your lungs and the long term affects are asthma, bronchitis, cancer and can result in to a severe throat problem. It can affect your hormones.
