Don’t you just love the warm chocolate taste of a freshly baked brownie? My brother and I, had a remarkable experience the first time we ever made brownies. It was an experience I will never forget. Not only was it a great bonding experience, I was also able to taste one of the most delicious snacks on earth!
It was a rainy day in the middle of summer, when my brother came into my room, he asked “want to learn to make brownies? “Heck yea” I replied. This is where it all began the great brownie experience. I put on my apron and headed towards the kitchen. My brother was standing there waiting for me. He had written down all the ingredients, and it was my job to gather them all. The list consisted of flour, square pan, butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla

With all the ingredients required at our disposal it’s time to begin cooking. First, we preheated the oven to 350 Degrees. While we waited for the oven to heat up we began making the batter and readying the pan. Once we had the 8-inch square pan greased and floured we began working on the batter. The first thing we did while making the batter was we melted a ½ cup of butter into our sauce pan. Once the butter was melted we removed it from the stove. We then added sugar, eggs, and a teaspoon of vanilla. Then stirred all those ingredients up. Next, we added 1/3 cup of cocoa, ½ cup flour, salt and baking powder. We then mixed that all together and began spreading it into our pan. Now it’s time to let the brownies cook.
This was arguably the longest 30 minutes of my life. I was sitting there staring at the clock hoping the time would pass down, so I could taste my work. After 30 long minutes they were done cooking. I was so excited, I didn’t even want to wait for the brownies to cool down. I cut myself a slice and they were delicious. I was so proud of all the work my brother and I put in. The biggest problem my brother and I have had was keeping the brownies all to ourselves.
Lastly, the experience I had with my brother was unforgettable, I got to experience a great snack, bond with my brother, and gain some cooking experience. I think the brownies came out exceptionally well, they were amazing! The only thing I can think about right now is when are we going to make them

Putting in the microwave until it is just soft is much easier than letting it sit out. Use an entire stick of butter, breaking it into smaller chunks will make it easier to mix in. To be misunderstood, misinterpreted, and mislead are three very profound ways to describe the young girls the Brownie troop had encountered. In the short-story “Brownies” there is a fine line between being a positive and negative role model. Arnetta is a very persuading young lady who we are introduced to early in the story. Although the story is told through the view of “Snot” (Packer 56), we see how the author illustrates the essentialness of how admiring someone can lead to a dishonoring conclusion.…

I put the pieces aside, hoping they would harden so by the end I could put the pieces together. I went on with the recipe poaching my pear and helping my team members when I had down time waiting for my own dish. I started to slightly panic when I checked on my sugar sculpture pieces, and they hadn’t hardened in enough time to even be made into a sculpture. Consequently, I had to throw the pieces away because there was nothing else I could do.…

well so I got out the measuring cups and portioned all the ingredients out and let my boyfriend Tristin added the eggs, milk and oil in a big red bowl. I taught him how to hold the bowl perfectly angled in the crook of your waist and to whisk the concoction together by using the perfect ratio of gentle and vigorous oval shaped whisks. Tristin knew I needed a splash of something stimulating to get me back at least briefly into the spontaneous and jolly Hannah that I had filed away and buried deep into my subconscious months earlier. He added some… when I say some I mean the entirety of a twelve ounce bag of mini dark chocolate chips into the batter and then looked up at me with a goofy grin on his face. I cracked a genuine smile for the first time in months.…
