1. Primary reason for wanting to become a social worker?
I want to become a social worker to help people in tough situations. I personally have gone through rough times in my life and understand what people out there are going through. My end goal with becoming a social worker is being a counselor and helping people with mental health issues. I understand what it’s like to go through life thinking that nobody understands what’s going on and I want to help people realize that they are not alone and life will get better.
2. What previous accomplishments best prepare me to be a social worker?
I think that doing 13 years of gymnastics prepares me to be a social worker. You wouldn’t think that gymnastics applies to anything to do with social work,
