My goal for my future is to become a pediatric surgeon. One day, my dedication and hard work will lead me in the direction of saving the lives of tiny humans. Growing up with a sister who is a Paramedic and a mother who is a Nurse, I have learned that pediatrics is a foreign conversation. Pediatric patients are the kryptonite to most medical professionals and the least likely battle story you will hear. Dealing with children who are sick and scared will be physically and mentally taxing. Being a surgeon will give me the opportunity to improve the health and wellness of my patients, and in post-operative care, I will provoke a healing regimen that will improve the wellness of my patients.
