Barbara Kruger was born 1945, January 26. The Kruger’s were a Middle class family, in New Jersey. Her father, Mr Kruger was a chemical technician while her mother, Mrs Kruger worked as a legal secretary. She was an only child and had a typical childhood growing up. Kruger went to the Weequahic High School In Newark. In this school is was artistically inclined from a young age and decided to pursue her higher education in art and design. In her years as young teen when can conclude that she loved and enjoyed art from an age. Her family life didn’t really affect the way she learned and her passions.
