Totally agree.

I can't think of a gaming franchise that looked so promising and turned out to be as underwhelming as Assassin's Creed. However, to answer your question. Feudal Japan would be cool. Being Norwegian, I also would've appreciated some viking assassin action. I am unsure whether Assassins Creed as is is the series to go the viking route though.
