American Sniper “Aim small, miss small” the words of Chris Kyle a Navy S.E.A.L. who starred in the amazing movie American Sniper. This movie follows the battles that Chris Kyle went through throughout his life, including war and the emotional toll it put on him and his family. The movie American Sniper starring Bradley Cooper (as Chris Kyle) and directed by Clint Eastwood, is an extraordinary exciting movie that has brought inspiration and encouragement to many. This movie was released in Dec. of 2015, and illustrates the life of war for a “Texan man”. American Sniper portrays the life of Chris Kyle who protects his fellow troops through four tours as the “eyes in the sky”and is soon to be named a the “LEGEND”. One of the most memorable quotes said by Chris was “God, country, family”, the quote resembles how Chris prioritises his life. It also shows the patriotic characteristic that Chris displays throughout the movie. In American Sniper Chris is presented as a country boy from the south, he brings his southern ways into fathering by telling his sons that there are three types of people in the world, sheep, wolves and sheepdogs each one displaying and different role. Chris states, “some people prefer to believe that evil doesn't exist in the world, and if it ever darkened their doorstep, they wouldn't know how to protect themselves. Those are the sheep. Then you've got predators who use violence to prey on the weak. They're the wolves. And then there are those blessed with the gift of aggression, an overpowering need to protect the flock.
