Culture in America
From the reading provided, I agree with most of the topics discussed about culture in the United States. Although America is a continually changing and adapting society, most of our traditions stay the same. The way we talk, eat, and visit with one another are common to the way society has functioned for previous generations. Despite small changes, these ways of life are common grounds for many people to interact and communicate. The changing family dynamic description was very accurate. Instead of seeing a mom and dad with children, it is far more common to see single parents, step parents, and same sex parents. While nothing is wrong with societies “norm”, there is also nothing wrong with people living different lifestyles
