Hurricanes are large, swirling storms with strong winds, but there is more to hurricanes than just that. Hurricanes actually have three parts to them and they are the eye, eyewall, and rainbands and all of these three parts come together to make one disastrous storm. Now, for a hurricane to occur you need two main ingredients which are warm ocean waters and strong blowing winds and this is why many hurricanes form over oceans, and then start moving inland. Also, to know the strength of a hurricane there is five categories that a hurricane can fall into, and this all depends on the wind speed of the hurricane.
