“Take an image, freezing a moment in time, reveals how rich reality truly is,” Ansel Adams says. Photographers need multiple skills and knowledge of what they are actually taking a photograph of. A photograph is not just what u see in the image its what you make of it. Photographers are still needed in the world to capture every precious moments in reality. Photography is a more difficult than just taking a picture and presenting it. It is about capturing the right picture at the right moment in time. Working as a photographer causes a lot of interaction with others.Varying on the conditions of the job or employer( Encyclopedia of Careers and Vocational Guidance). Part time photographers might work eight to nine hours a day five days a week. Now a wedding photographer might work 15 hours a day once or twice a week depending on the amount of photo editing that needs to happen( “photographer”). There are two parts to being a photographer that must be mastered. There is a technical side and artistic portion of the job. Technical part of the job includes the right camera, lenses, filters, film stock, and of course lighting in the image. The Artistic portion of being a photographer includes timing, a unique style, choices before; during; and after a shot (“Photographer”).Most photographers that work full time run there own buisness. Running a photography business includes Advertising, Schedule appointments with clients, set and adjust the equipment, purchase supplies, keep records, bill customers, pay bills, and hire; train; and direct employees ( “Photographers”). Certain skills that is needed to know in order to be a photographer are to adjust certain settings on a camera. There are four main categories to adjusting a camera that is the shutter speed, focus aperture,lenses and filters. They also need to know how lighting works and where to position lights for a good clean image( Encyclopedia of Careers and Vocational
