Repair and maintain mechanical equipment is an important work activity. Handling and moving objects are going to be part of the job too. You got to be able to think creatively for the job (“Common Work Activities” 1). I think that there will be many activities for a farm equipment mechanic. The activities will not be too difficult because I know how they are from growing up. I will be able to do all of the work activities. There are many working conditions for a farm mechanic. Your Skin is exposed to motor oil and antifreeze. There will be hot and cold temperatures for working outside. Exposed to hazardous equipment. Even depending on machinery what they have to work in (“ Working Conditions” 1). I will be used to the Working Conditions. I live on a farm so I know what it is like. I will be able to go through the working conditions. Physical Demands can be hard for some individuals to do sometimes. Farm Mechanics have to use their hands to control or feel objects. You might have to bend or twist your body. Standing for long periods of time can be a pain (“Physical Demands”). The Physical Demands will not be very hard for me to do. I will not make as much money if I worked in the southwest than if I worked in the Northwest. Missouri makes one with the least amount of wages. If I want the best pay I will have to move(“Wages”1). IF I want more money I will have to move. I don 't think I would like to move at all. I think that it will change over the years. The Employment and Outlook is important to see if that occupation is growing. Missouri is the highest for the employment. The growth rate is 12.4%. The major employers are Farm machinery and equipment supplier, and lawn and garden equipment supply stores (“Employment and Outlook”1). Missouri looks like it would be the easiest place to get the hob. I think that Missouri will be the easiest place for the occupation. I don 't have to go to school very far away from the job. Interests and Values are important to figure out if the job is right for you. Farm Equipment Mechanics like to work with plants, animals, and physical materials such as wood, tools, and machinery. They like to be treated fairly and have supervisors who will back them up (“Interest and Values”1). All of these things pretty much describe me for the job. I like to work with animals. I also like to be outside and get well
