Describe (in your own words) the research database or collection of research including the purpose and the subject matter it covers: AHRQ’s mission is to help improve the heathcare of all Americans. They establish this by researching the safety, quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of care given. They are also supporters of research that helps consumers or patients make better choices and decisions. Their overall goal is long term improvement. The database is available to reserachers, clinicians, consumers, purchasers, and policymakers. There is no charge to access this database.
Explain how the source relates to your topic of interest: This source relates to my topic of interest because one of AHRQ area of focus is quality improvement and patient safety. There are about 750 articles that were researched about the effects of nursing staffing and patient outcomes.
