With these problems, it is imperative that the upcoming president is fit to handle these problems. Although the other candidates have tried to hinder Trump’s momentum, he has still dominated the Republican primaries. Being the driving force Trump is, a voter may wonder why he is so popular. His campaign slogan “Make America Great Again” displays exactly what Trump stands for (Make America Great Again!). His many comments on against Hispanics and other races surprisingly find support among his constituents. The building of a wall on the border of Mexico has been one of Trump’s biggest issues. He claims the funding of this wall will come directly from the Mexican government. He states, “Immigration is a privilege, not a right.” (Make America Great Again). With this ideology, he will cancel many Mexican visas to compel Mexico to fund his wall. Even though Trump uses words like “compel”, he is truly using scare tactics against the Hispanic people (Make America Great Again). Donald Trump’s whole campaign is based out of fear and discrimination, He has alienated almost every minority group, and even his own party does not support his bid to run in the primary election. It can be said that represents the worst parts of the United States. A president’s place is not to separate the people, but to join everyone together in unity. A president like Donald Trump would not be able to accomplish that

I remember when Donald Trump first announced his political run for office. He built his campaign on the slogan: We’re going to Make America Great Again, “reinforced” by his bold claim of “building a wall”. When Trump got down into the weeds with Megyn Kelly during the first Fox News Republican debate, I sensed Donald Trump was a proud and arrogant man. I went on my own campaign against him; making phone calls, writing emails, calling news agencies and talk shows, posting madly to Facebook — whatever I could do to try to stop a really bad person from wrecking the Republican Party and damaging the nation. NeverTrump was my obsession, but it was, at that time, merely political for me.…

Addressing the first principle, he wants to fortify the United States’ southern border by constructing a wall along the border, and wants the Mexican government to pay for the wall. Secondly, the laws that the American government makes regarding immigration need to upheld and no one is above the law. In order to do so, Trump calls for “tripling the Immigrant and Customs Enforcement officers, e-verifying the nation, mandatory return of all criminal aliens, the detainment of illegals caught crossing the border, the defunding of sanctuary cities, enhance penalties for those who overstay their visa, cooperate with local task gang task forces, and end birthright citizenship” (“Immigration Reform”). Lastly, Donald Trump wants to use legislation to put American workers first. Donald Trump’s policies are unaffected by interest groups, but public opinion of his immigration policy has potential to damage, but not destroy, his ability to win the Texas Primary.…

Citizens see that this is evolving more and more each day and the government is just ignoring it for “bigger problems”. The ocean is being polluted and millions of dollars are spent almost every year trying to fix it the problem temporarily. The Democrats would like to fix all these environmental problems but they need to pass more laws for it and they must have the other party vote for those laws, which seems to be a challenge.…

After looking at both parties positions, I can say I am not surprised by the stances they have taken on the issue represented. For the democrat stances, many of their ideas favoured equality and calling for progress and change on many prominent issues. Such as how Democrats called for "policies and investments in order to keep America's public lands public". On the opposite side of this issue, the Republicans stated that that "our air and waterways are much healthier than they were a few decades ago". This stance from the Republicans shows how their more conservative and traditional views correlate to these stances on the topics.…

Schlafly for the next ten years would echo much of what Eleanor Roosevelt and liberal detractors of the ERA stated and expand on their arguments infusing her brand of Christian Republicanism into her arguments. Quoting from Schlafly whose article was included in Donald Critchlow’s Debating the American Conservative Movement: “Our Judeo-Christian civilization has developed the law and custom that, since women must bear the physical consequences of the sex act, men must be required to bear the other consequences and pay in other ways.” Schlafly contended that the ERA would “force women to work outside the home, abolish alimony and child support, and make women subject to the military draft.”…

I believe Hilary Clinton won the final presidential debate. Clinton’s performance was more persuasive than Trump’s because she spoke with sophistication and intelligences. This country can go in two directions. The first way is up, with Clintons ideas and views I believe our country can become great and everything from trade to economy can thrive. The second way is down, with Trumps and his ideas to build a wall to keep immigrants out and his lack of commence sense and human decency.…

This shows the purpose of Trump’s side of the argument, which is that he wants to improve America by reducing illegal immigration rates by having a permanent border wall and increase fees on all border crossings. Following up on his belief, Trump wants to construct the new immigration policy that will, in his opinion, return the safety of laws for the American people. The immigration policy also proposes the mandatory return of all criminal aliens currently subsiding in the United States. Trump recognized the Obama Administration for releasing 76,000 aliens from custody of committing criminal convictions since 2013, but still wants to continue on that action by having all criminal aliens to be deported to their home countries by cancelling visas and adding an additional committed crime to being in a country illegally (Trump 3). This further contributes to Trump’s purpose to reduce illegal immigration in the United States and putting all American citizens as a priority in this country.…

After the presidential election, Donald Trump was elected president. Riots broke out, feminists cried, and some people moved to Canada. Honestly trump isn't that bad, he can't start a war in the next 4 years (hopefully), every law and bill he can make has to go through the supreme court, and he cannot change the amendments. So he doesn't really have that much power. So my three issues for trump are wars, taxes, and the wall.…
