Our country has now more than ever needed a great leader to take us further into our great destiny. So many politicians have promised to bring back the days of glory and return jobs back to Americans, while other politicians have promised to do something about illegal immigration and the children feeing their country and into the United States. With the 2016 presidential election looming above the country, many have started to ask themselves if there is a politician that cannot just handle the issues but instead tackle them. He has made several attempts to curb the spending and budget issues within the government and especially on Capitol Hill. With the current deficit at an all time high of upwards of 14 trillion Rubio has purposed that a government spending freeze be issued for all non-defense and non-veteran spending. He wishes to freeze at 2008 spending levels. This would mean that the government would not be able to continue to freely spend about the spending levels of 2008. He has also pushed the unfriendly idea of 10% budget cut of White House and Congress spending. This agenda was made with harsh review as this means a slight pay cut for politicians, including himself, and small reductions in staff. He wishes to reduce the fat of the federal bureaucracy and directly apply the savings to the growing deficit. In 2010, he supported a United States Constitutional Amendment which would require the Senate Balance the Budget yearly to ensure that the debt is not only dealt with but action is out forth to …show more content…
Unless the Democratic Party can find another potential candidate it appears that Clinton may be the name on the ballot. Although Clinton outranks Rubio in years of age, her lack of follow through as the First Lady, Senator of New York, and now the head of the State Department cannot be ignored. Their differences in life and on the political spectrum are apparent. Hilary has indeed had a long career; however her wake of error and scandal cannot be lifted from the view of the American public. In 1992, during her husband’s Presidential campaign the Clinton came under fire for subsidizing losses of a company into another company that they co-owed. The scandal was named Whitewater and charges could never be brought against the Clintons due to lack of evidence. Then in 1996, while the Clintons were in office, some of the records that could not be “found” during the scandal where located in the Presidential Library. Several Independent counsels were created to review the actions of both the First Lady and the President. Investigations were inclusive and no further legal action was brought again them. Once again the First Lady would be dragged into another scandal in 1998. Clinton’s husband became the focus of an internal investigation around a relationship he had with an intern. At first the President and First Lady denied that he has been

Olivia Plunkett Mr. Reader Impeachment 27 April 2015 After the Watergate scandal, former President Nixon was brought up on impeachment charges due to his involvement in the scandal. Many citizens called for the removal of Nixon from office, and he was brought up on impeachment charges, but resigned before there were any trials. According to the Constitution, a president “shall be removed from office for, and on conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.” Under these terms, I believe that the accusations against President Nixon were impeachable crimes due to not having the interest of the citizens in full mind.…

Clinton's presidency was a seemingly long hard road. During his second term as President, He was impeached due to charges of lying under oath to a grand jury and obstruction of justice. However, the real underlying reason for the impeachment was Clinton’s denial of the Lewinsky Affair. The public opinion of the Lewinsky Affair allowed the Republican party to create a political strategy to use against Clinton. “Contending that Clinton had committed perjury, Republican leaders made the affair the centerpiece of their quest to defeat Democrats in the 1998 congressional elections” (Jansson, 2012,p.398).…

Presidential candidate John Kasich carries a strong political platform while being able to present it in a professional and diplomatic manner. Candidate Donald Trump however, puts on more of a reality television show performance than a composed campaign in his pursuit of becoming the leader of the United States of America. Despite the horse race that this presidential election has become, John Kasich is a candidate with experience and accomplishments, innovative plans for the future, and a charismatic personality.…

Out of these forty-four presidents there have only been three presidents who were in the process of impeachment. The most known scandal in presidential history occurred in the 1970’s that was known as the Watergate Scandal. Richard Nixon “could formulate no Coherent strategic plan for the general election until he knew which Democratic Party he might be running against.” Nixon had a group of men to go in the Watergate Complex in Washington D.C. and they “rifled DNF files, removing documents to photograph. Perspective on the “Jobs” Party It is hard to imagine how any sane person can actually hold to the notion that lower taxes create jobs, given the overwhelming evidence provided above. Nearly four decades of definitive data is not an anomaly. Keep in mind that even with Ronald Reagan’s job numbers, his own OMB Director, David Stockman, gave credit to Fed Chairman Paul Volcker’s ability to tame inflation as the reason for the Reagan economic turnaround; not as a result of lower taxes as supply-siders continue to believe. Take a moment to digest the following perspectives as they relate to job creation from 1977 forward.  During Bill Clinton’s eight years in office, 22.891 million jobs were created (Table 10).…

INTRO The Monica Lewinsky and Bill Clinton Scandal of the mid to late 1990’s sent a shockwave across the nation, and was the first time in American history where the personal life of a sitting President was deemed as fair game for a pending criminal investigation. When Lewinsky came on board as a trainee in 1995 to the White House, no time was wasted in establishing an inappropriate relationship with the most powerful man on the planet at the time, President Clinton. The situation was an utter embarrassment for not only the Nation’s top executive, but for the entire country as a whole. The affair amongst the two was carried out for an undetermined amount of time, and legal proceedings stretched for years before a conclusion was reached in late 1998.…

After the Civil War, the United States’ economy was in shambles, the Republican vision shifted its priority from Reconstruction to economic resolution. In order to stimulate the economy, the government emphasized capitalism through industrialization. As industrialization expanded, the illusion of a prolific economy surfaced. However, although the national economy gleamed at a glance, poverty was prevalent amongst the working class. This divided the nation into two separate factions: producers who were against capitalism, and big capitalists who evidently supported capitalism.…

For this reason he was rejected from the American public thus preventing him from succeeding as President! The Clintons had entered into a real estate venture, arguably a sweetheart deal in which their potential for loss was minimized (although the proposition was so goofy that they did eventually lose some money) with some shady characters who were simultaneously looting a local savings and loan institution (Klein, 2003). Between January 3, 1994 and August 3, 1994, President Clinton addressed the “Whitewater” matter in the course of seven press/media appearances (Blaney & Benoit, 2002). Kenneth Starr was originally appointed to investigate a failed Arkansas real estate deal involving the Clintons almost 20 years after the fact, Starr 's scope expanded over time to include a bewildering range of accusations of fraud, obstruction of justice and abuse of power allegedly involving President Clinton and the first lady, as well as some of their closest friends and advisers (Washington Post, 1998). A fraudulent $300,000 federally backed loan to Susan McDougal, some of which went into…

There has always been a shroud of fog around the personal matters of the Clinton’s, but underneath that shroud there is a hidden evil that is incomparable to any other American politician. The Clinton’s have been involved in many conspicuous affairs including White Water and the Ives/Henry case. They also have been involved in around 100 deaths of people close to them or people who worked for them. They have used witness intimidation and other scare tactics to harass witnesses into not testifying, and if they don’t agree, they are normally dead within days. Because of the amount of Clinton body guards that have been killed, the Ives Henry case, Whitewater, and the amount of the Clinton’s fellow party members that have died around them, it is…

The strength of the Democratic Party is in its diverse and inclusive base. That’s why it’s often referred to as the “Big Tent Party.” Unfortunately, that is also its ‘Achilles hills’ when it comes to getting a general consensus on issues and nothing more has demonstrated this phenomenon than the current presidential race involving former Secretary Hilary Rodham Clinton. After riding high in the polls among democrats leading up to her announcement, she is now barely in the lead in some key early primary states.…
