Republicans are pro-life, while Democrats are pro-choice. Both parties make strong arguments on why their view is better than the others, but I am more in line with the Democratic Party. I believe that women have the right to choose whether or not they decide to abort a pregnancy. This is also an important issue because the pregnancy could cause health issues, the woman could be a victim or rape or incest, or the baby could have birth defects. The Republican Party does not allow these issues to be exceptions for an abortion, since they strongly believe in pro-life. I agree so strongly with the Democratic view on abortion because it allows women to make a very important decision without the government infringing on their rights. I also agree with the Democratic side because they promote sex education, which teaches students about the risks of sex, but also how to approach the situation safely, so that there are less unwanted pregnancies.
