About the Abstract
The abstract is an attention catcher. Despite the fact that I did not read the entire research article, I was able to grasp the purpose and importance of the research, the hypothesis and method of the research, and the result and findings of the research. All shrunk into 126 words. In addition, it entails keywords. The numbers of words I will use to explain the abstract will definitely be more than that.
The first sentence clearly states the purpose of the research. It was about the argument between several authors that have written about recovered repressed memories. My research paper is about resurfaced repressed memories and the style used in this abstract is the kind of style that I will be using in creating my own abstract. At first, I will state the purpose of the research with some eye-catching terms. Then I will throw out a question that will definitely catch the attention of my readers. Thereafter, I will state the importance of the research based on that thrown question, then I will briefly highlight the method of the research and limitation. In addition, I will state the findings and result of the research. Then, I will point out the need for a further research and finally, at the bottom line of the abstract, I will put down some
