Discussion Reply to Our Scars Written by Rianna Crocker Most of my scars have been obtained through playing childhood games, sports, or unexpected awful encounters with vicious animals. How awful it must have been to have a scar on your face, a place that is inescapable from daily view, that reminds you of the death of your beloved friend and the grieving process that resulted in that scar. I too know what it is to lose such a precious friend at such a young age and the pain that grew inside. I must have been the tender age of four when the family cocker spaniel had a litter of puppies; two to be exact. At the time my brother was three years of age.
