When it's time to grow up and make big, kind of life changing decisions, there are a lot of different aspects to look at. There are a lot of different possibilities in those aspects as well. One of the most important things in life is having shelter, so when you’re older, you’re going to have to be able to provide yourself with a place to live. With that decision, you also have to consider other things. What can you afford? Where do you see yourself in the next 10 years? Maybe even, how much responsibility do you want to have to deal with, in your place of living? All of these things you consider, and all of the others aren’t easy to decide overnight. For one, renting a house allows you to be more flexible with stuff and explore the area that you might possibly want to live in forever. When renting, you are not stuck permanently. You can decide if you really do enjoy the neighborhood, schools, and community that your future family might grow up in. It is also a good thing if you have life uncertainties. Like, not having enough money to live, bad credit, in between careers, or you could even simply just be a college student needing a cheap place near their school. Renting also seems to have its perks just simply because, as long as you pay, you don’t have that much responsibilities. Nice renting places usually have their own lawn care service, so you won’t have to mow your yard or trim your hedges. Also, if you have a roof leak or busted pipe, it is your landlord’s responsibility to replace and fix his own belongings. If you decide to rent a condo or apartment, some utilities come free and the landlord pays for you, not saying that won’t interfere with how much your rent
