In this new era of 21th century, our world is surrounded by energy even our eating foods also having energy which is chemical energy. In physics, energy is defined as a property of objects which can be transferred to other objects or be converted into many different forms (encyclopedia 2016). Energy can be differentiated into two groups which is renewable energy and non-renewable energy. Renewable energy group is defined as the group of energy which can be replenished naturally in a short period of time while non-renewable energy is defined as the group of energy which cannot be infused in a short period of time.

Renewable energy will be encouraged but not non-renewable energy because renewable energy is the energy that produced less of a negative impact to the environment. Non-renewable energy such as petroleum will pollute the environment by producing soot from vehicles while driving. Soot produced by vehicles is carbon monoxide which also a poisonous gas that will harm our lungs. Carbon monoxide will be absorbed by us while we breathing. It will absorb into the lungs and binds with the haemoglobin in the red blood cells. This will reduce the capacity of the blood to carry oxygen in our body which will slowly lead us to death if we absorbed too …show more content…
Firstly, the most obvious, also the most attractive reason to make peoples paying attention is the bills. By installing the solar panels which also known as solar photovoltaics system (PV cell) on the roof top, it will automatically help to absorb the light energy from the sunlight and convert it into electrical energy. In this case, it will automatically and continuously generate the electricity to the house as long as the sun is hanging in the sky. In Malaysia, sun is hanging in the sky about three per four in twenty-four hours. This make the PV cells enable to generate enough electricity for a house in a day. Because of this solar energy, peoples will tend to use less electricity which generated from the power station therefore costing less money. Peoples can save up the money and use for other

Energy is an essential resource in everyday life. Our world revolves around energy and without it we wouldn’t be able to live. Our main source of energy is indeed fossil fuels but slowly they are becoming more and more limited. With fossil fuels once they are gone and used, they are gone forever. We burn these fossil fuels to receive fuel for planes, cars and powers electricity plants supporting large industries.…

Fossil fuels (oil, gas, and coal) have been the pillar of our modern society since the Industrial Revolution. There is no further doubt that fossil fuels have a high density of energy and they are the world’s dominant energy source. Even though these non-renewable resources have a variety of applications like fuel for transportation, electricity, plastic, medicine, and chemicals, they are also the largest emitters of carbon dioxide which causes human health and environmental issues. Every economic aspect the United States depends completely on these fossil fuels. An effective way to address the United States’ fossil fuel dependency is by relying on renewable sources of energy, learning how to conserve energy, recycling and reusing products…

In analyzing the future of energy in the United States, the state of California will be the city of interest. It is one of the most populated states in the United States of America and as such it is expected to have equally high demand for energy. On the contrary, it has one of the least per-capita energy’s usages. This is attributable to some factors, which the state enjoys. These are mild climatic conditions experienced in the state relative to other parts of the nation, energy supplementation programs to back up the major energy sources that are electricity as well as petroleum.…

Harnessing Hydroelectricity To harness energy from flowing water, the water must be controlled. A large reservoir is created, usually by damming a river to create an artificial lake, or reservoir. Water is channeled through tunnels in the dam. The energy of water flowing through the dam's tunnels causes turbines to turn.…

    Hydro Power In Canada

Canada is endowed with all of the resources, both natural and man made, we require to meet our energy needs for the rest of this century. For the past couple of decades, the country has been using fossil fuel as the primary energy source to heat our homes, power machines and automobiles. However, fossil fuel may no longer be the solution due to the amount of pollution in the country. One critic of this record of neglect insists that the damages to the “environment shaded their benefits. It did not take very long for the earth to run out of energy resources and to threaten environmental and human health”(Morgil et al., 2006).…

Energy is the power derived from the utilization of physical or chemical resources, especially to provide light and heat or to work machines. Energy is all around us and can be created from many things such as oil, natural gas, coal, wood, water, wind, and petroleum. Most industrial nations use fossil fuels, which are natural fuels formed in the geological past from the remains of living organisms such as coal, natural gas and oil to be driving force that powers their modern industrial societies. These fuels are unable to be recreated, so the rate of consumption of these resources is at a staggeringly high rate. Non-renewable resources are finite, which means one we use them they are gone, and renewable resource are ones that are renewed by…

So if we look at what renewable energy looks like in the United States right now it's pretty disappointing. Only about 15% of the U.S runs on renewable energy and the other 85% is nuclear or fossil fuels. But it would be possible for this number to change, as of now Oil only is 1% of energy production which can be easily switched for renewable energy and no one would see the difference. It's when theas percentages get higher is when switch is hard, for example naturals gas produces about 34% of the United States energy.…

INTRODUCTION Energy sources are a vast number but not all of them are renewable and those that are non-renewable are not going to cater for the next generations if we do not change to live conservatively and sustainable . The non-renewable energy sources not only are damaging our environment, they are also depleting . This means that the future generations will not get the benefits we are getting today from our environment if we are not starting to change our values and attitudes towards the use of the energy sources. Sources of energy More concentrated energy sources are used and are categorized into renewable and non-renewable energy. Renewable energy sources are those sources that can be replenished over and over again, that is they do…

Economists and statisticians note that the amount of electricity bill could be lowered by over 50 percent. Moreover, the government, for example, of the United States has encouraged installation of the approved Energy Star solar per systems and the additional installation costs by around 30 percent are channeled towards the tax payment due. It, thus, provides an opportunity to save in more than one option as noted above. The third benefits of installing solar shingles are that they are easy to install. When compared to other panels that do not use shingles, they do not require much workforce and, hence, saves time and costs of installation because of their simplicity in installing and less workforce required (Cooper, 26).…

Non-renewable energy is produced from fossil fuels and cannot be replenished. Fossil fuels are derived from the remains of plants and animals from millions of years ago. They release CO2, a greenhouse gas which is a major factor in the greenhouse effect. The earth’s temperature is predicted to rise between 1.4oC and 5.8oC by the end of the 21st century, with changes of 1oC predicted to cause increases in extreme weather. Fossil fuels are expected to run out so implementing alternative methods prepares for this.…

For example renewable energy resources are a source of inexhaustible energy. Sun power, wind power, hydroelectric power, hydrokinetic energy, and geothermal energy are types of energies that can never deplete. Most renewable energy sources emit less greenhouse gases which slows down the process of global warming. We shouldn’t also forget that greenhouse gases also affect our health. It would be a healthier world if we use clean renewable energy sources.…
