Only those who have experienced the journey of discovering the true reality from false perceptions can guide others to escape the ignorance they live in. The process of Jesus earning all authority after his resurrection is similar to the mind power one can have once they know the true reality of what they live. The Agents that are always forcing a fake reality upon humans just comparably to the symbol of the evil genius that Descartes describes. The Agents goal is to eliminate all those who are trying to disrupt their process of controlling the reality of those who live in ignorance. When Neo is able to understand everything as code he is able to control his perception of reality and defeat the “evil genius” or the Agents. Most organizations or groups have a leader trying to shape the minds of this those who idealize their leader, trying to create their personalized minions. It is obvious that “Whoever controls the media, controls the mind” (Jim Morrison). Descartes shows that humans can use their senses to help them understand the nature of reality and experience, but the senses alone are inadequate to determine truth. His philosophy proposes that the sense of reality based on the six senses are often deceived and everything that is known about certainty are concepts people know by judgment, thinking, and understanding of them in their minds. Initially, one begins to observe the truth when they begin to question their perception or what they are being taught. One might begin to realize the truth through their doubts of the ideas they are being told. Once they question the ideas and the power of authority they begin to realize the truth and change their perception. Nevertheless, in all cases the first doubt is fed off of someone else who is trying to enlighten others. After the first person induces a question into their mind, similarly to how Trinity induced Neo, you begin the process of discovering the truth. Once Neo began to question the truth, he began to change his perception of reality with the help of Morpheus and his crew.
