The Geography of Italy was a benefit for trade. All of Italy’s city-sates were along the Mediterranean Sea. Trade was constantly bringing in new ideas and that was a huge influence on the Renaissance. Individuals who were part of the Renaissance were motivated to see new worlds. Not only did trade bring in creativity but it also helped the economy. Due to the moving economy people were able to afford education for their children. The economy also caused people to use coins to buy things, which created a money economy. Traders decided that bringing products by sea was a better option. This benefited Europe because the roads in Europe were poor and filled with burglars. Due to the need of currency to be exchanged many bankers and merchants became important.
