Renaissance best artist
The renaissance was started after the black death due to the population, this was the time of beautiful art and inventions. The main artist was Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Donatello. But Leonardo is the best artist of the renaissance not only from his back story but because of his variety of skills. Leonardo had many skills but were only focusing on two, Master painter, and Inventor.
Leonardo wasn’t into being a painter he was born of a peasant. Leonardo always had a connection with nature and loved to draw his father noticed this and arranged for Leonardo an apprentice to a famous painter Andrea del Verrocchio. They say when Leonardo painted his first painting that his master was embarrassed that such a young boy could paint better then him so he never painted again. The two of the most famous painting he had painted were the “last supper”, and “the mona lisa”. But Leonardo wasn’t just a painter he was also an inventor. Some of his inventions were, the tank, the helicopter, and the catapult. He used many techniques to paint and write. He used oils and dyes he loved to experiment with paints all the time. He also write in code it is called mirror writing he had to use this technique, even though he painted with his right he wrote with his left. It also helped because if he wrote right-left the ink would smudge if he wrote left-right he wouldn’t have a problem.
So those are my reasons why Leonardo is the best artist in the best artist in the renaissance. Not only for his drawings but for his inventions and his life. In his time not every peasent became as famouse as him. Leonardo was an insiration then and he is one now to many
