Over the course of this semester multiple musical genres and eras were introduced; each one as significant and unique as the next. These eras include the Middle ages, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and 20th Century. The renaissance epoch is utterly without a doubt the most interesting era to have studied within this semester. The name renaissance itself means “rebirth” which in part is why the era is so magnificent. The renaissance age in time paved way for new discoveries to be made along with explorations and innovations not only in music but as well as art.
