When I was a little girl I wanted to become a famous singer. Hmmm… Where did that get me? Nowhere. Remy wanted to be like famous chef Gusteau. In the movie Ratatouille, by Pixar. Chef Gusteau’s restaurant is an important setting to Remy. The restaurant is an important setting to Remy because he wanted to cook at the restaurant, meet chef Gusteau, and cook like chef Gusteau. In Ratatouille, Remy wants to cook at the restaurant. Like the other chef’s at the restaurant, Remy wants to be able to cook chef Gusteau’s recipes. In the movie it shows that Remy has a recipe book of chef Gusteau. This shows the restaurant is an important setting to Remy because he watches Lingweenie mess up the soup and Remy wants to help
