Everyday research is in progress by many scientists and specialists to discover new species, study the mystery of our history, and develop new ways to improve the world. For example, the Remus 6000 helps improve the world by being a tool for research and helps to aid in other operations that occur underwater. The Northrop Grumman Remotec Andros is an important robot that can help to improve the world by being designed for military, explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), and law enforcement or SWAT applications. Explosive ordnance disposal is also known as bomb disposal. So the Andros F6B is important because it can find bombs and dispose of them, which can save many, many lives when the bomb is diffused. The Remus 6000 originated from Naval Oceanographic Office, the Office of Naval Research, and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, in order to help deep-water autonomous operations. The problem the Remus 6000 solves is the problem of not being able to explore sea life deep within the ocean. The Remus 6000 gets its name for being able to reach a depth of 6000 meters underwater. It may not be a large distance in relation to how vast the ocean is but it can be an idea to help spring other ideas forward, that can go beyond the Remus 6000.
