Removing The Flag In The United States: Case Study

A Texas man was told that he had to remove a flag from his balcony. The reason that he was told to remove the flag was because he was told that the flag is a threat to the Muslim community. The man, whose name is Duy Tran, stated that he has friends who died while serving the country. He recently moved into a new apartment and wanted to honor his friends by flying the American flag.

Shortly after Duy hung the flag, the apartment manager told him that he had to remove it. He was told that the flag was a threat to the Muslim community. Duy stated that he was shocked when the apartment manager told him to remove the flag. He said that he is not a threat to anybody.

Duy's apartment manager stated that the reason she asked him to remove the flag
