In the village the lottery is a yearly tradition that has great benefits for citizens. In todays world, people are too sensitive when thinking of removing the lottery. This is the cause of people not realizing the true good the lottery offers.In the end, the lottery is too beneficial for the people of the village to lose.
The lottery is a tradition that has been around since the creation of the village. So many have took that ultimate sacrifice so that the others of village could use the lotterys good. By removing the lottery all those who have died so that their children could experience happiness would have been for nothing.
