Researchers have found something called a Reminiscence Bump which shows that memory that occurs in adolescence and early adulthood is highly to be recalled. With these new evidence three hypotheses has been suggested. These three hypotheses are self-image, cognitive, and culture life script hypotheses. All three hypotheses are different, but do have some similarities to one another. The first hypotheses is called self-image here the researchers proposed that memories are enhanced because of important defining events that happen to one self.
