Boaz uses the visual technique zoom out when Gerry is in the hospital bed after his freak car incident. Gerry is in the hospital room all alone lying in his bed, while he is lying down the camera is zooming out, this could symbioses he is all on his own while he should be with his team playing the finals yet he is left stranded in a hospital bed alone watching his team play the final game where he should be playing along side of them. The zoom out also shows that he is getting sad, it shows that as there is more for him to think about while he is lying alone in his bed. By him being alone it also shows that he is going through this by himself, he has friends to help him but he is alone.
