Since I can remember I was always enrolled in catholic schools; Catholicism is one of the strongest religious believes in the Hispanic community. Having this formation, I acquired the ethics to forge strong foundations in my life. The religion is one of the most controversial discussions I have found in the psychology world, and personally, I keep my distance from it; knowing that as a society, the theological believes vary in a big percentage, I assume a respectful position and I take advantage of it by learning how people think and assume life from their religious conviction. With this being said, from my perspective the Christian heritage influence by the academics in GCU will make the difference with a non-faith based university
