Making an effort to have national leaders across board denounce such acts and show solidarity with Muslims. Also Muslim national leaders have to make the effort to unite the Muslims and have vocal and united stand on islamophobia.
In conclusion, Muslims could easily nullify the effects of Islamophobia by conducting themselves as proper Muslims, as the Prophet SAW and his fellow companions did. Local community outreach, barbeques, interfaith, and neighbourhood projects could greatly help the Muslim cause. This would allow the public in general, to see the true Muslims and not what some individual at a national debate or an election rally tells them. Furthermore, being more interactive with Muslims and knowing a Muslim personally would make non-Muslims feel more comfortable around them, thus not fearing Islam
