In the biblical text of Noahs ark. God saw all the evil of the beings on Earth and how nobody was worshipping and fearing him except for one family and that was Noahs family. One day when Noah was praying to God, he said “I am going to put an end to the people of the earth because there is lots of evil in the world because of them, you must build an ark and fill the ark with two of every animal, every type of food and your family because I am sending a great flood”. Noah did exactly what God told him to do. It then rained for forty days and forty nights. The water flooded the earth for 150 days. Before going on the Ark Noah had to try and persuade more of the village people to pray to God and ask him for their forgiveness, so that they could be saved from the flood that would destroy everything on Earth. Another challenge Noah faced was that him and his family would have to rebuild civilisation on the world. This was a challenge because there were only 5 humans and about 50,000 animals (Von Buseck.C, n.d.). A Reward that Noah received from God was being able to survive the flood that God sent to the Earth.
