Religion: Should We Ever Believe In Organized Religion?

Religion is defined as a social system that consists of behaviors, sacred texts, beliefs, world views, holy destinations, and shared organizations that connect mankind to an order of being. Religions sometimes include prayer, sacrifices, festivals, marital services, feasts, rituals, sermons, death services, initiations, music, dance, etcetera. Most religions secure sacred histories and stories that must be conserved in sacred symbols, scriptures, and holy places. Many religions attempt to give connotation to life as humans know it. The limitation of religions is that the religious practices take precedence over the religious beliefs. There is more energy given to the doings rather than the beings. Religion is not only the belief in a higher authority, but to exhibit a great amount of faith into something. However, one’s faith begins to be questioned when one does not attend religious practices regularly. People tend to neglect the fact that one can be religious about any and all things.
