The Importance Of Religion In Society

Religion can play a big role in society, belief that allows individual traditional heritage religion passed down to another. Religion is a form of symbol that is freedom to save your soul to be at peace with the leader of your belief. Religion can branch out to numerous belief believe, such as non-denominational Christian church that is not part of larger denominations; and Pentecostal church is traditional holiness movement baptism. For example, Non-denominational Christian believes in a wide variety of beliefs, and Pentecostal church is long established people who speak in tongues.

On the outside of the church are off white brick walls, one story high. The build looks about older than a decade. On the same street was located another church. The area of the church would be considered the hood or lower class of poverty. On the inside the walls were white and seem like at any second the wall were going caving in. In the auditorium is shaped as a triangular prism and the average size was small. It seems like there were more newcomers than an original member of the church. Therefore the church usher was very welcoming to us, such as, treating you as if you were the next president to go in office. However, the choir was off tune at certain point of praise and worship. It seems like the worship part was never going to end. I keep looking at my phone to see when the actual service was going to start. Within half hour more members were joining the choir. However, the pianist and percussion were out playing the choir, but the pianist was dancing and play the piano at the same time. At certain parts of the worship the choir was singing old traditional, for instance listing to old Negro spiritual or antique gospel songs that touch your heart and motivation of doing better for our self and to get closer to God. After attending this church for the first time truly open my eyes on the real world we face has negative and positive affect on us. Pastor Geoffrey allowed each scripture to define it self to reality that we face every day. He used certain words to define of means of what he was going to explain . He didn’t hide any untold information to get the message across. Especially, the service when he was talking about the infected by the word of god. Infection is outbreak that soon or later will affected the whole entire body. He use infection to explain that when your body physically slowly shutting down and the infection will take over. Also to influence lost soul to get right with them self-first and right with God. When helping other, will soon or later you will be rewarded. God will blessed you when you are blessing
