Religion is a crucial topic in “To Kill a Mockingbird”, due to all of the racism,
sexism and discrimination. For starts, we should probably examine the writer,
Harper Lee’s life and see what her spiritual life looked like. Harper Lee was very
“active” in her church, but never did become a professing Christian. which tells
us she probably did not write this on a spiritual basis.

Sundays and often times, put on a spiritual mask, their actions and beliefs on
social, life are far from Christian morals. Most of Maycomb members are
