Sharing news content is how a large majority of news stories get around to a variety of users. This can be done by sharing the story to the whole feed of friends, or even tagging a specific person to share the article with. According to The Washington Post, "journalists are going to depend on Facebook to tell them what people care about, then they’ll want to feel assured that these data are accurate or, if subjective, at least openly so. Which is why there is so much on the line" (Borchers, p. 5). This means that the sharing of the news content, and the writing of the news content goes both ways with what people care about, and what is accurate
