Every society has cultural diversity with each culture and individual possessing unique traits. An understanding of the actual differences may at times harbor disrespect, discrimination, and conflicts. Such issues arise when the indigenous ethnic group considers itself superior to the foreigner ethnic group while viewing them as an intimidation to their way of life and cultures. To start with, one has to learn to appreciate differences. As people become aware of the differences and the differences of the people around them, it is essential to remember that though they are different from others, people within a single group are as distinct from the other as well.
